My name is Catherine Nichols and I’ve been an artist for the majority of my life. I also have an AS in Graphic Design. In my professional career I’ve been a T-Shirt artist for over 25 years. Art has been so much a part of my life I don’t know any other way of living. I’ve sold my paintings from my hometown of Pensacola, FL to places like New York and Los Angeles. I would say my art style is Pop Surrealism. It’s a Funky blending of comic book art, cartoons, pop culture and psychedelic art. I’ve had 3 solo shows in my local area. I’ve participated in group shows in Houston, New York, and several in Los Angeles. 

When I’m not painting, I’m always finding other ways of being creative. I bought a cnc router machine and taught myself how to use it, thanks to Youtube University. I make up designs and cut them out in wood on the machine. I taught myself how to use epoxy resin. So I combine the 2 mediums and make great looking pieces. I’ve participated in several different artist markets in town, including Gallery Night. 

I also love travel. This was me in 2018 in Peru, at Machu Picchu. I hiked for 4 days on the Inca Trail to get there!
